LUCKY PINEAPPLE has finished up recording and mixing. The results will be shipped out this week for mastering. If all goes well Noise Pollution will be releasing ”The Bubble Has Burst in Sky City" their second full length in late June. More info and a release date to come. MINNOW have finished recording their debut album with Kevin Ratterman at The Funeral Home. NP is scheduled to release this sometime in upcoming months. Noise Pollution is working on a one-off seven inch project with Small Stone Record's THE GLASSPACK. More details on that as they develop. Brian Foor has a new recording project thus far going by the moniker FOOR. He will be writing most of the material and will be collaborating with some of his "favorite artists, musicians and all around bad ass motherfuckers". FOOR has a myspace page where you can hear an early version of one song. It features Shawn Severs of Louisville Lip handling vocal duties and our own Nathan Smallwood doing guitars. Speaking of Louisville Lip Records, they will be releasing an album by the completely badass RUDE WEIRDO sometime this summer. Ex-VRKTM fella Dave Bird has recently joined the band on guitar. And speaking of Ex-VRKTM fellas... Jason Hayden has reconvened with Andy Willis, Tony Hoyle, Steve Good and Gary Pahler to reform THE WEB. They played an unbelieveable return show last month and are rumored to be releasing an album this summer on Kris Abplanalp’s Black Velvet Fuckere label. Lastly, a belated word of thanks to everyone that came out to the Noise Pollution 10 Year anniversary show back in January or as Doug Maxson put it "the show to end all shows." It was a great evening and was nice to see so many old faces. Here's to 10 more. |
