Bio
TYRONE was formed in the Fall of 2001 by William Benton, Mike Clifford, and Jonah O'Neil. Brian Foor was added in the Spring of 2002 on keyboards. The members of Tyrone were inspired by a wide variety of influences and sounds, the result being a blend of funk, jazz, punk, progressive sounds, r&b, surf, and improvised noise. After a brief period of inactivity, Tyrone returned with renewed purpose in the Fall of 2002. Jonah took his exit to concentrate on school and was replaced by Axel Cooper. Tyrone self recorded their debut album, "Numinous", in May 2003. Tyrone wrote and recorded new material and played shows in and out of Lousiville throughout 2004. Unfortunately, Tyrone came to an end in late Summer 2004 after Brian quit and Axel moved out of town.
